How often are you suppose to change the timing belt on a 2002 Honda Accord?

They recommend it be changed at 95,000 miles. How often are you suppose to change the timing belt on a 2002 Honda Accord?
timing belts should be changed about every 30,000 miles or so. It can go longer, just feel the belt and make sure the RIBBED part of the belt is not cracking. If it is starting to crack then it needs to be replaced.

the timing belt is usually changed with the water pump since you need to take the water pump off to change the timing belt anyways. How often are you suppose to change the timing belt on a 2002 Honda Accord?
They recommend it be changed at 90,000 miles. Every time you turn that many miles, replace it. While you are in there, change the water pump too while you have access.

Added: Hey hiteck, where did you get the 30,000 miles figure? According to the manual, the interval for United States 1990-93 Accords is 90k miles/6 years, whichever comes first. I'm sure the later models are the same (yes, I need to upgrade my manual).
it depends if it's a 4 cyl or V6.On a 4 cyl you should change youre timing belt every 100,000 kms, along with the water pump. The reason is the water pump is driven by the timing belt. Therefore ';IF'; the pump fails so will youre belt, even if it has been replaced

For the 6 cyl check out owners manuel at the 100,000kms servicing shedual
Actually Honda recommends changing your timing belt every 105,000 miles.
